Dr. Gladys Brown West Exhibit

Put Dr. Gladys B.   West on the Map of Recognition – Give to her exhibit and stem educational module.

If we are to Put Her on the Map, the country needs to know Dr. Gladys Brown West’s amazing story, overcoming the personal challenges of the Jim Crow era as a Black female mathematician whose mapping of the world enabled GPS.

We need all of America, particularly young girls and minorities to be inspired by these role models to pursue an innovative career in the STEM fields and beyond. As former IBM CEO Ginni Rometty declared, “To be it, we must see it.

That’s what this exhibit will do. Using hand-on interactive engagement, people of all backgrounds and ages will be encouraged to become the next Dr. B. West and pursue STEM fields. Designed by the award-winning Howard+Revis firm, the exhibit is a breathtaking experience that won’t be forgotten. Take a look.

The exhibit is designed to be mobile and can crisscross the country with your support . We can even turn it into a digital experience. Put Her on the Map!

Let’s make it happen! You can be on the cutting edge of this important national undertaking to reshape society’s perceptions about women and what innovations girls will create to solve society’s needs.
